DESCRIPTION: Apex Newbury is a resort-style amenity pool serving a four-story multi-family apartment community in Bridgeville. Rise Structural Group provided structural engineering for the 48-foot by 24-foot in-ground shotcrete pool, including a 24-foot by 12-foot sun shelf with steps. The reinforced shotcrete pool shell was designed for a hillside site with full hydrostatic and lateral earth loading conditions.
